Rental Terms and Cancellation Policy
Plain-language terms for payment, renewal, cancellation, damage and pickup.
Effective October 11, 2026. These terms apply to every rental from Jordan Rental Works, 105 Murphy Ct, Nashville, TN 37203.
How are rentals priced and paid?
Every rental starts with an itemized quote listing the unit rental, delivery and pickup, any same-day rush fee, any extra service and tax. Payment is taken by card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) when you book. Approved business accounts may be invoiced on net-30 terms. Drivers do not collect payment.
How does the 28-day billing cycle renew?
Long-term rentals bill in 28-day cycles with weekly service included. Each cycle renews automatically until you call or text for pickup. Billing stops on the day you request pickup. Delivery and pickup are charged once, on the first cycle. Event rentals are one flat price for drop-off, the event weekend and pickup.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery. Inside 48 hours, the delivery fee is kept and the rest is refunded. Same-day orders are non-refundable once the truck is dispatched. Rescheduling to an open date is free when requested at least 48 hours ahead.
What are the renter's responsibilities?
The renter provides a firm, level spot with truck access and a clear path at least 48 inches wide, and keeps it clear on service and pickup days. The renter is responsible for loss or damage beyond normal use, including fire, vandalism, graffiti, theft and tipping.
- Do not move a unit that contains waste; call us to reposition it.
- Keep trash, paint, concrete, chemicals and other debris out of tanks. Extra cleaning or repair is billed at cost.
- Tell us about septic lids, sprinkler lines, buried utilities and overhead wires near the spot.
- If a crew cannot reach the unit on a scheduled visit, the visit is missed; a return trip can be booked as an extra service.
- Placement on streets, sidewalks or public property may need permits, which are the renter's responsibility.
What happens if delivery can't be completed?
If the driver arrives and cannot place the unit safely because of a locked gate, blocked path, soft ground or unsafe slope, the driver will call the contact on the order. If no safe spot can be agreed, a trip charge equal to the delivery fee may apply.
How do you handle weather and site conditions?
Units are placed on the ground surface you choose and are not anchored unless requested. In severe wind or flood warnings we may delay delivery or service for safety. Jordan Rental Works is not responsible for ground marks on soft lawns caused by placement in a spot the renter selected.
